| The neo-Gothic chateau from 1853-55 stands in the place of a baroque building prior to which there used to stand a late-Gothic hold. The chateau served for wine making purposes with the famous sparkling wine Chateau Bzenec maturing in its large cellars extending all the way to the park. In 2002, the chateau and the adjacent park were bought by the municipality of Bzenec. To date, two of the corner towers have been reconstructed, the interior of the chateau is still empty though. The large front garden belongs to the chateau, near the gate there stands an obelisk. The Chateau Garden is found behind the chateau. The famous Bzenec lime tree grows inside and a couple of free-ranging peacocks live in it. |
| Opening Hours: | The park is open year round (October - April 9 to 18 hours, May - September 9 to 21 h). |
