Moravian Karst is one of the most important karst areas in Central Europe and it is the largest and most important karst area in the Czech Republic. Throughout the territory there are more than 1 600 caves, five of which are open tothe public: Caves of Punkva river with the possibility of sailing on underground river, combined with a visit to the bottom ofthe Macocha abyss. Katarina (Kateřina)cave, which is known forits unique stick-shaped stalagmites. Balcarka cave with a rich and colorful stalactites and stalagmites. Sloup-Šošůvka caves, formed by huge corridors and underground chasms. Výpustek cave with an underground military fallout shelter and a new paleontological archaelogical exhibition.

V Punkevních jeskyních je instalováno ozvučení a prohlídky je možné provádět v 9-ti světových jazycích bez příplatku k ceně vstupného. V ostatních jeskyních je k dispozici papírová forma cizojazyčného výkladu.
