Fishing

Francis´pond is located in wonderful nature of Lednice-Valtice Area. It is filled with panoply carps, some of them weighing more than 15 kg. You can fish here also for sheatfish, pike and lower quantity of white fish. The pond has approx. 6 ha and its width is 100 m. You can fish from one side only where a meadow is - on the other side, there is a continous belt of reed. The average depth is around 1,5 m, near the dam it can be 3 m. When fishing, the method "fish and release" is used with 3 rods....
