It is the most precious thing Mikulčice keep for future generations. They are alluvial floodplain forests and meadows with rich flora and fauna. It also includes protected natural reserve Skařiny known nesting stork and heron. In the spring they are carpets of snowdrops and early spring ladoněk dvoulistých.
