Ivaň
The first mention of the village dates from 1073, is home to church. Bartholomew. About 2 km north of here Plačkův forest protected areas and river Satava, which is a remnant of floodplain forest with rare vegetation.

Ivančice
Town at the confluence of three rivers, Jihlava, Oslava and Rokytná. Birthplace of Art Nouveau painter Alfons Mucha and actor Vladimír Menšík (commemorative hall). Jan Blahoslav, bishop of the Jednota bratrská church (Unitas Fratrum) worked and lived here and set up a printing shop in the 16th century. The remains of the congregation house survived.
