Jevišovice
Arcaded Renaissance chateau rebuilt in Baroque style. In the 17th century it belonged to Louis Raduit de Souches, the commander of the successful defence of Brno against a Swedish siege. A Moravian National Museum exhibition today: a collection of folk painted furniture and keyboard instruments. On the southern border of the town is the New Castle built by Raduit de Souches, adapted in Neo-Gothic style, closed to the public. A free palace garden features a collection of Baroque statues.
