Almost two thousand exhibits from all over the world selected from his collection Vaclav climbed to the permanent exhibit of minerals in the altitudes. Vrbas Museum

The Vrbas museum in Ždánice has mainly a regional character. It comprises 19 permanent expositions with over 3000 exhibits located on the ground floor of the Renaissance castle, which was built in 1569. The museum was founded by Jakub Vrbas, Ždánice´s teacher and historian. His first collection was based on the finds of Ždánice´s notary, JUDr. Martin Kříž, a notable archaeologist.
