The village of Hýsly is located 5km northeast of Kyjov in the vale of the Moštěnka Creek. The municipalities are bound by historical evidence of settlement in southern Moravia, whether Celts, Slavs, or quad. Their ages were Chudčice also part of the Great Moravian Empire.
