Kunice
Kunice village is situated at the upper end of the valley, cordoned-off between the wooded hills of Zagorje and Niva. After the upper edge of the road is Drnovice - Lhota u Lysice under which the dense greenery of gardens lies our community. Kuničky Village is located at the Brno Massif Drahany Highlands about 12 miles north of the town of Blansko in the road turning tomato-Jestřebí to Němčice. It lies surrounded by forests on both sides of the creek Holešínky at a height of 550 meters above sea level. The village belongs to the Lenčová - several houses in the forester's lodge about a mile from the village.

Kunštát
Traditional production of the “Kunštát pottery”, pottery fairs every September. A castle above the town used by the Moravian National Archive is partially open to the public. The palace garden contains one of a few dog cemeteries. Czech King Jiří of Poděbrady (and Kunštát) came from the family of the town founders, the Lords of Kunštát. The town is linked to the life of a poet, František Halas, who is also buried there.
