The castle of Boskovice

On the Castle Hill a romantic ruin of the Gotic and Renaissance castle from the mid of 13th century looms. The castle used to be a center of the manor which originally beonged to Boskovice nobelmen. It is enclosed by a quite well kept stone walls equipped with loopholes and renaissance tower warning post. A well 26 m deep is a technical attraction; it is driven by a still operating wooden treadle wheel.
