Description:The town of Ždánice lies in South Moravia, in the north-west of the district of Hodonín. The town is situated in the rolling countryside on the southern edge of the Ždánický les, 226 metres above sea level. To the north of the town the wood turns to an agricultural landscape with orchards and vinyards, in the south there are fields. Two streams, the Trkmanka and the Ždánický potok, merge in Ždánice.
