| The Renaissance castle of the 16th century, which is the oldest building in town, housed since 1928 Kyjov Ethnographic Museum, a branch of the Masaryk Museum in Hodonin. A permanent exhibition of archaeological, ethnographic and natural and Nature Kyjovsko exposure (natural history collection, presented in the form of large-scale diorama of) the following special exhibitions throughout the year. To this day accumulated several generations of museum employees more than 40,000 items. The collections are a valuable library, which forms the basis of 15 rare books - 18 century. Library now has over 15,000 volumes. Used mainly for learning purposes, the museum staff, but it can look into the professional ranks of researchers and the general public. | |
